有人話係源於英國人中意嘆Afternoon tea（即而家指既high tea），
當時香港仲係英國殖民地，工人都有樣學樣，學英國人飲茶。
但係當然飲唔起英國D貴紅茶啦，於是求其拎D茶葉加糖又加奶，慢慢就演變成今時今日既奶茶喇！
後尾港人為左追求「滑」，改用白毛布手縫茶袋沖茶，令茶更滑更易入口。早前我地介紹過
既「蘭芳園」可謂自創絲襪奶茶既始祖！
However, there is different saying about the origin of it.
Someone claims that it was come from English whereas British people love to have afternoon tea.
Hong Kong was still a colony of England at that time, that's why some of the workers start to imitate the British to drink milk tea.
Of course, they were unable to pay for the expensive earl milk tea and started to invent by themselves. Just some tea, sugar and milk mixed together and then as time goes by milk tea was created!!!!!!
After all, Hong Kongers want to have a silky taste, they actually thought an excellent idea to create that silky taste!!!
They used some kind of white fabric and pour the milk tea to filter any crumbs in it and hence the texture will be more smooth and silky!!!!
