SPD4459-尋茶記。第7彈 星光熠熠耀華星 - 華星冰室 Capital Cafe



華星,冰室,香港的文化象徵。

香港貴為美食天堂,茶餐廳冰室文化源遠流長,馳名中外,作為香港嘅文化象徵實在當之無愧啊!之但係筆者係開首又講到“華星”,究竟華星又點解可以同冰室並列呢?嗱嗱嗱 開餐就先同大家上返堂歷史課先啦~

Hong Kong, better known as the "Food Paradise", the world-famous ChaChaanTeng had a long history and it is definitely  one of the cultural emblem for Hong Kong. So what else can represent "Kong" culture besides food? Let's take a seat and begin our history lesson.

華星名字來自於香港著名唱片公司華星唱片,於7,80年代實屬香港樂壇最輝煌時期。華星唱片旗下歌手不乏當時天皇巨星,包括張國榮,梅艷芳等。而華星主辦的新秀歌唱大賽亦幫助不少傳奇歌手踏上星途,例如陳奕迅,楊千嬅等。華星一名實在標誌著香港流行文化最盛行的年代。

好啦上完歷史堂,又等我講下華星冰室嘅概念從何而來啦。兩位老闆,組合EO2Eddie同著名經理人文迪,將華星同冰室結合,目的就係帶大家返到八十年代,從味覺到視覺都重新回到過去。有左兩位既藝人背景同華星一名加持,令到華星冰室週不時都星光熠熠,可以話係近年來最潮嘅冰室。

The chinese name of "Capital Cafe" is originated from the Capital Artists, a Hong Kong–based record label. In the 1980s, signed some of the biggest names of Canto-pop industry, including  Anita Mui, and Leslie Cheung. Great singer like Eason Chan and Miriam Yeung were also debuted through the Capital Artist's singing contest. During its prime in the 1970s and 1980s, Capital was one of the biggest labels in Hong Kong.  Capital Artists and the 80s symbolized the prime time of Hong Kong pop culture, this is the main idea for the Capital Cafe, to bring back the good memories with our sight and taste.

 

門面黎講裝修得好有格調,內裝嘅黑白配色營造岀一種復古味,侍應哥哥一身白色制服配牛仔褲,整齊得黎又sharp醒,又不失傳統茶記風格,加分!

We can easily differentiate Capital Cafe from others by its classy decoration, the black and white color scheme created a throwback and retro look. All of the waiters are in white shirt and denim jeans, look fresh and tidy, also reflect the local Hong Kong style!

有名氣係未又有實力?
Hyped or not?

講咁多口水又乾肚仔又餓,快啲揾個位坐低先啦。侍應哥哥們效率高,服務都幾好,好快就安排兩位Hunter坐係卡位。而毫不例外地華星嘅卡位都係有啲迫,加上舖位唔大,食客真係好易“打成一片”,冇咩距離感架。望望餐牌,睇睇隻錶,十二點幾,早餐就 冇啦,但唔怕仲有常餐。叉燒湯意/通,多士拼火腿或炒蛋,經典搭配,無慮即決。兩位Hunter決定一人食通粉,一人食意粉,都係炒蛋。係等緊嘢食嘅時候,Hunter Ron就發現左啲幾有趣嘅名係餐牌上面喎。“校長多士”,“重口味多士”,都係用歌曲同藝人名命名 不過真身係點,就有待查證啦。


Without further ado, let's take a seat first! We quickly settled down at the booth seat and without an exception, the booth seat was a bit narrow for us. Never mind, we were here for the food. Took a glance to the watch and it's already 12pm, the breakfast meal were sold out. Waiter told us we can order the set meal that available for whole day. We ordered two set meals, Soup Spaghetti/macaroni with barbecue-style pork, Toast with scrambled egg and ham, Classic "Kong" style meal. While we were waiting for the food, we found some interesting name on the menu. They are named with song name or artist's name, pretty interesting!



說時遲,那時快,兩份常餐好快就到左。不過唔是說笑,都幾大份。兩位男士表示食曬一份飽足成個晏晝。味道黎講呢,叉燒有叉燒味,火腿有火腿味咁啦。不過不失。但係呢兩樣都唔係重點,隻蛋!隻炒蛋!是係成個餐嘅精粹。唔係!甚至係成個冰室嘅精粹!用上北海道3.6牛乳去炒,香滑,剛熟,軟嫩,有蛋香!Hunter Ron食過不下十次 炒蛋嘅水準都係keep住咁good, 果然係鎮店招牌。

Here comes our meal! Surprisingly this set meal is quite large even for two guys, we were so full for almost whole afternoon.  And for the taste, not anything special. The ham taste like ham and the pork taste like pork. HOWEVER, the scrambled egg definitely was the treat from this set meal. It is the iconic food of the cafe. It made with Hokkaido 3.6 milk and taste so good, well cooked and smooth. It might be the tenth time for Hunter Ron to eat at Capital Cafe, the scrambled egg always taste good.
You got to try it once!

價錢黎講,飲埋凍飲$40,都算合理,加上真係好飽同埋食到水準以上嘅靚炒蛋,絕對係名氣與實力兼具嘅新派冰室。

The set meal cost about $40, a pretty decent deal. Moreover, the set meal is really large and the scrambled egg is superb. Capital Cafe absolutely a new Kong Style "Cha Chaan Teng" that worth a try!
