SPD 4459 - 尋茶記。第4彈 【南龍冰室】 The South Dragon Cafe

就似是置身於1961 年月日分秒某人某地⋯⋯

AIYA唔好意思,一聽到茶餐廳個名南龍冰室1961》就好想唱歌(笑到喊)

話說當日一去到對面街,未見到個招牌就首先見到條人龍就知道無搵錯地方!


Hello everyone!!! Today the chachaanteng hunter brings you to a nostalgic China café which called "The South Dragon Cafe".  The long queue outside the café is the best prover of the popularity of this café.


一聽到個名就知把炮,始於1961年,正宗老字號茶餐廳
但係點解會咁新淨既?是咁的~(做過下research食過下夜粥架我)

原本係筲箕灣經營左超過50年架啦,因為租金大幅加租就結業左一陣子,直至早前先聯另一老牌茶餐廳金記老闆係銅鑼灣重開南龍,將老字號延續下去喇。

The South Dragon Café was found in Hong Kong since 1961, but you may wonder why the decoration of the café is so modern? It’s because The South Dragon Café was closed in few years ago due to inflation of the rent fee, therefore the version of the South Dragon café that you can see is the “reborn” version of it.


由於新裝修,又想保留番舊有既特色,就變左好似扮懷舊咁
所以個景都變左南龍特色之一,一場黎到你無理由唔影掛?


餐廳有兩層,伙記見我一個人就叫我上留上坐坐喇

This café has two floors in total. When I enter the café, the staff told me to go to upstairs for a more comfort atmosphere.




(睇真D,有雀籠架,唔知係咪關舊時D人中意玩雀事呢~)


呢類「撘lift」送餐買少見少喇!!

The type of lift that used to deliver meal is really rare in Hong Kong!!!!


E個餐牌又幾modern喎

The design of the menu is quite modern.





例排叫左個常餐

I ordered a set lunch which included toast, omelet, rice noodles and milk tea.



去茶餐廳叫常餐唔食多士是常識啦,但係呢塊真係無!得!輸!
脆度同牛油比例岩岩好~
仲有個奄列(我最中意食蛋,所以要求好高)
首先火腿夠多,然後切開隻蛋,蛋漿隨之而湧出~~正呀喂

The toast is extremely delicious!! The amount of butter is perfectly matched with the crunchy toast!! And also the omelet is very delicious too. Both of them are ‘must try’ items in this café!!




少甜左既奶茶茶味更出

The ratio between milk and tea is perfect!



又食又睇既呢一餐係:HKD$45
個人覺得係銅鑼灣鋪租咁貴黎講   價錢係合理既

The total amount if this meal is: HKD$ 45
In my opinion, the amount of this meal is reasonable since the location of the café. (It located in Causeway Bay.)


提提大家,呢個磚頭飯蛋撻都好出名架

Moreover, the egg tart and the “Rice in Brick shape bread” are also famous items in this café.
